I'm sure this has be covered many times before but my searches come up with nothing. Search engines and I don't get along well.

I just bought the LR32 Drilling System. I have watched a ton of videos on You-tube including the very good ones by Bruce Burrell. I'm also new to using the MM system over Imperial.

I like about a 3mm reveal at the top and bottom and sides of my cabinet doors. In all the videos the door hight is the same height as the cabinet.

How do you get a reveal when using the LR32 to drill the cup holes since you cant move the stops 3mm.

You can put a 3 mm shim on the stop
Or do what I do,I use a different jig to drill the holes for hinges
On

OK thanks guys. You confirmed my thoughts. I'll actually use a different drilling jig for the hinge cup holes. I have a Blum mini press in the shop and use the dowel system. I have a Blum ECODRILL  for in the field. But I was curious  anyway.

That's what I use also

This maybe a stupid question but why use lr32 if you have a blum mini press, i thought it drilled 32mm holes

Because I lead a double life. I have the Mini Press in my home shop. I also have a job with the local school district where I build a lot of cabinet for class rooms. So you might say the LR32 is for in the field.

Does that mean you're using 35mm Hardware?
Yes, I use (mostly) Blum 120 degree clip top hinges and base plates for frameless  and framed cabinets. I also use 5mm holes for shelf pins.
