LR32 guide rail connector

The FS 1080/2-LR 32 is too short and the FS 2424/2-LR 32 is too long.  It would be nice to be able to connect multiple FS 1080/2-LR 32's together to make a longer 32mm rail.  A connector to do this would need to have a 7mm spacer.  Festool, care to make one?  Charge $50 and you would have a good deal.

Use the shank of a 9/32 drill as a spacer and save about $49.

Better yet...put LR32 holes in all of your guide rails.  I don't want to have an inventory of 6 guide rails just to have the right mix of LR32 and non-LR32 lengths to do projects.

I agree with Cannuck.  That is what I've put on my list of Festools to buy is different lengths of LR32 guide rails since they can be used with the saw and all other tools.
