I just bought a new LR32 kit.  In the kit was only 1 long linear stop and on your web page it says there are 2 and they are smaller.  Did something change?  Is the new set up better?  I think I would rather have the 2 stops so I can keep them on the rail and not have to move them from end to end.
Thanks Dave

just took everything out of the kit again and there is only 1 in there.  I guess I will be calling festool in the a.m
Thanks

Dave,  too late for me to call you, but you got the anniversary edition set.  It's a limited edition that contains one long linear stop that you cut in half.  [big grin]  I guess Sean or Bob is in trouble for this one.  Are you sure it's an LR32 and not the LR16?

Fun aside, if you need to, you can borrow mine temporarily till you get the replacement.  Let me know.

Dave,

I was in the Drawers and Doors class this week and Brian said that there are newer style end stops that are longer and include a 9.5mm marking.

However, I would still expect that there would be two of them in the kit
(There are two of them when you buy them separately as part# 496938)

I noticed a 9.5 marking on it also. Also Ken thanks for the offer but I should be fine I will let you know.

I spoke to festool yesterday and they said I got one of the new kits.  They only include 1 linear stop now which is longer than the old ones because it can be used as a spacer for joining LR32 rails together and as a linear stop.  There is a new mark on it also 9.5.  I'm not to sure what its for.  I will be using it in the upcoming weeks so I will see it I have any issues setting the rail up with only 1 linear stop.

Dave,

The 9.5mm stop is for the contruction holes (for the 19mm top/bottom panels)
The 16mm and 32mm stops are for the system holes (for the shelf pins, slides, hinges)

The new end stops should be (or will be) available separately as part# 496938
They come as a package of two.

Dave
