LS-130 being discontinued?

I was at my local Festool dealer today and they had an LS-130 new, in a classic systainer on clearance for $289.  Is this model being discontinued?

I hope I didn't make a mistake picking it up, but they said it still has a full 3 year warranty.

I'm guessing it was old stock, I just bought one a couple months ago in new style systainer along with accessory attachments.

Pretty much every kit that came in a classic systainer went on clearance long ago to make way for the t-loc style systainer.

The LS isn't going anywhere (as far as I know). 

By the way, that's a killer deal for that sander!

At first it seems the LS 130 is a 1 pony show, but after you own one, its versatility really shows through.

Am redoing a bathroom, removed the ceramic tile and then had plaster walls filled with tile mastic. Mounted the scraper blade (491 199) on the LS 130 and it removed all of the mastic without damaging the plaster.  [thumbs up]

I'd say it depends on the mastic, I tried it on that very job and it didn't work at all.

I ordered an LS130 and it was delivered just last week in a new style T-Loc systainer.
I ordered it for a specific project that I am starting this coming week.

I haven't used it yet but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it lives up to my expectations.
