I apologize if this has been answered in the past but after a quick search I was not able to find an answer to my question.  I recently purchased the Mafell P1cc and did not purchase the Mafell Rail.  Has anyone developed a method to run the P1cc on a Festool Rail other than using the Rail as a straight edge to run the side of the saw down?  As always thanks everyone for your time and assistance.

Jigsaws have never been the proper tool for cutting perfectly straight lines. That is what tracksaws  are for

Your P1CC can give you a perfect cut very similar to a circular saw when used with the fixed base on a track. Bosch tracks are compatible (Mafell makes it for bosch and Bosch sells it 50% cheaper than Mafell). Worth the investment if you own a p1cc.

Yep - I do this all the time and get perfect results with my P1CC. Recommend getting the Bosch/Mafell rails to take advantage of it.

Here is a video I made several years ago to show the precision cutting this way:

What depth stop tool is that you're using?

I have an incra gauge I LOVE but that looks really nice as well... I'm kind of a nut for certain stop tools. Thanks for the link guys.

Post a question and then disappear...

As already mentioned, the best answer is use Mafell or Bosch rails with the P1cc.  It has groves in the base to ride on those rails and it also comes with an attachment to run parallel to the Mafell/Bosch rails.
The Bosch version of the rails are comparable to Festool rails.  And they are really handy because they have a groove towards the cut side for undermount clamps.  Super handy when cutting narrow material.  You'll need different clamps, or have to grind the Festool clamps.
