I love my TS55, but realized that I wasn't placing the rail accurately because of my aging eyesight. Therefore, I was wondering whether anyone has a good suggestion for a magnifier/light combo to use with the TS55 rail. I thought I had this solved when I bought a head visor with a light and magnifier, but I only need it when setting the rail, so I take it off while cutting. As I result, I end up spending half my time looking for it when I need to make the next cut.
I was thinking of a magnifier/light that could clamp to the workbench, but haven't been able to find one that was large enough for this purpose. The ones I see are fine for sharpening and cutting dovetails, but not to check the placement of the entire rail.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Steve
