Hi fellow forum members,

My wife and I have been trying to complete the kitchen in our camp in the rural Maine woods for the past 5 years. All the wood in the project (with the exception of the case); cherry and spalted maple were harvested and milled by us from trees on our land. Well we finally completed the project with the help of our new Festools. We are new to the Festool line and thought we would try to complete the entire project with our Festool equipment. Wow!! They certainly made for a successful project and have really driven home the fact that Festools really are very versatile and allows one to eliminate a number of the stationary tools in our shop. We thought that we would share the results with the other members.
Regards and best wishes,

Nice project - looks great.
Nice work on fitting those hinges and doors.
Home grown all the way - love that counter top !

Thanks for sharing  :)

Rick and Jody,

Festools helped but it was your skill that put it all together.  Great selection of materials put together in a beautiful way.

You did a good job and harvesting the wood from your own camp makes it even better.

What finish did you place on the countertop.  I simply used Varathane (6 coats) on the wood (beach) countertop on in the kitchen at my camp and it is not working out well.

I would love to see a few pictures of the camp.
