Making your own pre-finished flooring

How about the Swedish finish. I used it when I made my iroko stair treads a few years back. It's an epoxy finish that is rock solid. I'm glad I went with it.
Conversely, I love Bona finish and actually prefer to use that when working for customers. But I'm not a full time sand and finish guy.
