Got a custom barbeque/bar to build.

Currently birch faced plywood has been specified for the carcasses, which are going to be painted on the inside, but I was possibly thinking about using the Medite if its good ?

Anyone used it and/or make any other recommendations' and comments?

Thanks

Hopefully someone with more experience can come comment. I've been sampling some tricoya and some accoya too and they are impressive materials, been testing their weather potential and dimensional stability for a few projects.

However getting hold of it is difficult, not freely available and the price is steep. I don't have figures to hand but on most projects the price might put you off using it on projects for cheaper alternatives.

Cheers fellas,

My supplier can source me both product, although I am waiting response on a price atm.

Just interested to get some actual real life feedback on it rather than, manufacturers spiel, and if it really does weather up to the storm so to speak.
The last thing I want is to be called back.

Looks like a nice product though, if it does do what it says on the tin.

There was an article in probuiler where they built planters from it

Yeah I did read that, which was nice, as I originally heard about the product last year. My main thought behind asking on here was to see if anyone has had it fail or reporting a bit more feedback. As Roger Bisby, obviously only had the direct experience with it and not over a prolonged period.
