I bought a MFK700 (EQ/B plus) off the recon site, not the set with 1.5 degree base. Looks brand new.
Separately, I just ordered a new zero degree base and feeler bearing. How do you install the feeler bearing?    It has two slots that look like it mates up to 4 screw holes on the base of the MFK but I don’t see any screws anywhere. We’re they supposed to come with the MFK or the feeler bearing?  Nothing else was in the new bearing bag.

By the way, is the black plastic dust hood that clips on the zero degree base supposed to be included with the base?  Since I got the non kit I was looking for it but it doesnt come up on the mfk list of accessories.

You put on the horizontal base and then the feeler. I have the set, so I can't tell you about the dust hood. In the set it is included, but I don't know if it is when you buy just the machine. In my case there was only one machine screw to fasten the feeler. But it is a standard M5 size, so it is easy to add them yourself. On the other hand, I found that one screw was good enough for a secure connection. I've attached some photo's for you that show how it attaches to the MFK.

P.S. Sorry for the triple. I got some error about the attachment being too large and tried again.

I bought the set version recently which came with the 1.5 degree fence and the dust port. I then purchased the 0 degree fence separately which came with no dust port and just the fence itself.

I have the set version here on loan at the moment - I understand it is complete, but I couldn't say which bits would come included with other options or accessories.
I have two screws for the bearing guide -- they are a regular M5 x 10mm, and for clearance need to be either Allen-head type or a 'pan-head' type for a screwdriver. I assume the two pairs of threaded holes on the router body are to offer a wider range of fitting and adjustment.

Can someone show me a picture on the shape of those screws?
Can I get a confirmation on the number of screws that were supposed to be included, 1 or 2?
It’s odd there would be a place for 4 (2 pairs) when they include 1 or 2.
I would think you would need at least one on each side.

I am not near the shop at the moment, so I can't make a photo for you. But when I look it up in EKAT it says there should be two of them. See here and the last row in the screenshot.

I contacted Festool and they’re going to ship me out a pair of those screws as well as the dust port for the base. I asked how much the dust port was but they’re just sending one. That’s nice.

Glad to see that [member=101]Festool USA[/member] was able to help you out.  Sometimes connecting with them directly is the best way.
