Just double checked the manual and Rick hasn't released his version yet, so here's what I can't figure out:

for the "Sensor", there were two bolts already in the body of the router, and two loose ones (in a plastic bag). The manual doesn't specify if you need only two bolts to properly secure the sensor to the router body, or if you should use four (it certainly had plenty of adjustment even with all four in place).

Also, if only two, then are there other Festool knobs (with hand friendly green knobs on them) that would fit into the same taps so it's easier to assemble and remove the Sensor mechanism?

Two screws to secure it, as I recall but I don't have one here at home.

Not sure about knobs...

I can check on it.
 
Just a follow up... Yes, only 2 screws are required for attaching the sensor bearing.

We don't have an existing knob that would work. The screws are M5 x 10 in size.
