I am looking for advice for an upcoming kitchen cabinet project using 10mm thick solid edging on pre finished plywood. What is the ideal set-up for an MFK 700 to trim 10mm thick solid edging on pre finished plywood?

I assume trimming in the horizontal position is preferred but which base? 0 or 1.5 degrees? If I was using thin edge banding than 1.5 degree would be preferred but due to the 10mm thick edging should I use the zero degree base? I don't want a gap between cabinets upon installation. Make sense?

Any other advice or tips?

0 degree if it's that thick and you don't want it to look like a trapezoid. I'd prefer a bearing and a light touch, myself.

Use the 1.5 degree base and route with the cutter slightly higher than the panel (.2 mm works). Use a sander with a blue pad and sand flush, there is no evidence of the 1.5 degree angle. I do this with all my flat panel doors using thicker edging. In the pic the doors are Pommele Sapele veneer panel with a 3/8" Sapele edge.
