mfs parrallel guides

I like the parrallel guides but not the price so I decided to make some using the mfs rails.A bit crude,even agricultural but cheap....if you have the mfs rails.

Started with 2 strong tie connectors like this

the holes line up with the rail connector bars just drilled them out to 6mm

bolt to mfs with m8 bolts[heads ground down a bit]

cut 2 angles to make stops

[attachthumb=#]

connect up

[attachthumb=#]

rails are thicker so I used some brass washers to pack out

et voila

Edit:

Although I don't know how you are going to justify additional equipment for your shop (i.e. milling machine) if you keep coming up with simple solutions!
