Hi!

Q 1 : What is the easy way to connect the new  mft3 table with a cs 50 table saw?

Q 2 : is there a wider "plate" ( Festool ? Or non Festool custom?)that is 30,40 or 50 cm wide or so that you can put between the mft3 and the cs 50

Thanks  :)

Depends on which side you want to connect the MFT.

Outline for a quick self-build of a bridge inhttp://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-tools-accessories/attaching-kaypex-to- - can be made in the size you need and the principle works for all sides.

In-/Outfeed:
In case you have the LA-CS 50 fence you could go for a #492092 VL table extension on the outfeed side as this allows the rip fence to be positioned freely - the VL dosn't work on the infeed side with that fence though. For infeed a less wide self-build bridge could be used for a connection, then have strips of plywood to put in from the top (just resting in the V-groves) after setting the fence to close the gap (between the CS and the MFT and between the blade and the fence) you would have to leave as it's needed to access the knobs on the fence). In case you don't have the LA-CS 50 fence (that I personally like as it's way easier to set compared to the protractor version, so I would recommend at least looking at it) the VL table extension works on both sides.

Depth:
VB-CMS, continues the scale (at least the one on a normal CMS when used with the TS plates) for use with the LA. V-groove on all exposed sides, so the self-build bridge approach works.
