It would be fantastic if on the Left side there were bumpers/cushions to allow the operator to lower the table one side at a time, stand on end without scratching the aluminum, and then lay the table back towards the operator now on the "Right" side which is now facing the sky and engage some rollers to allow easy movement of the table from place to place. Ill do some modifications and post later.

I'm interested in what you come up with. I have 1 rail roughed up from the concrete.  Bad enough, tough to use it. I slide 1 of my tables away when not needed. A snap on slick cap would be better than what I have.

I had the same thought when i purchased my MFT/3. I decided on using a piece of 5 x 1 decking I had lying around with several coach screws placed into so that the hex head slide into the T track part.
When I finish using it I slide this on to protect the edge, am thinking I may add some castors to make it easy to move around when its not needed.

Same for my CS70. Whenever you put it up you have to lay it on it's side to unfold the legs and the aluminium gets scratched by the ground. I used some of those self-adhesive pads you can stick under the legs of furniture.

So there is an upside to having carpet in your garage after all [cool]

Alex - thanks for the suggesting the self adhesive pads.
Kev -  I have carpet tiles in my workshop and haven't found a downside yet.  It's all upsides!
