Hi folks,
Sorry if this has been posted before but I've been kind of out of touch with woodworking and Festool for a while. I'm considering selling at least one of my 1080's and upgrading to MFT/3's but even after some time searching the threads here, I'm still not quite sure how/why the MFT/3 is easier to square up than the 1080.
I see that there is a more positive attachment of the table to the rails and that the fence now connects to the rails but to me it seems that the actual method of squaring the fence and rail are the same. Also once the fence and rail are removed, I cant see why their their reinstallation wouldn't require the same re-squaring that the 1080 does.
Any clarity on the subject will be appreciated.
