MFT/3 with Incra Fence and Shop Stop

Something like this . . . these are some SketchUp drawings I made when I was planning this approach. The Incra Fence is attached to the flat bar permanently, and sits slightly behind the front face of the flat bar. The flat bar attaches to the MFT/3 as needed . . . mostly useful for support under the Festool Rail ( not shown in these images ). I did need to add a large ( >20 mm ) hole for the bench dog used to reference the Festool Guide Rail.

box185 - have you considered buying the incra positioner pieces separately and attaching it to a piece of wood that was cut to a size suitable for the stop, then attaching that to some 80/20?  I'm not sure what you had in mind for an extrusion, but it seems to me that the incra "rack" pieces are the key to your solution.

I have a 52" Incra fence and multiple stops that are attached to my MFT with UHMW brackets so that it sits off the table.  I can crosscut 27-28 1/2".  I have Woodpeckers MFT square to insure that my rail is square.    View attachment 1

Rst- can you share model numbers for your brackets that affix the fence to the MFT? Do you have any squareness issues with this setup? If you had to do it over again, would you do anything differently? I like the idea of having 28” crosscut capacity on the MFT. Nice work!

Pretty sure the answer is;    UHMW > tablesaw = MFT 3 profile.

Micheal is mostly correct...table saw and router table.  I used a 45% router bit to create the V with shoulders.

I've bought the Shop Stop and would like to mount it similarly for maximum width so thanks for sharing your solution.
