How many times have we seen comments like "I thought the MFT was a ridiculously expensive table, but it's the most used tool in my shop" around here?

It's time to be pro-active.  How about:

It's not a "table", it's a POWER TOOL

Thought of making these up at Cafe Press and selling them, but you each can probably do something nice with a label maker.

It's not a "table", it's a POWER TOOL.  Say it.  Believe it.  Stick it.  :D

I agree.
Before I bought an MFT & even when I bought it, I woundered how much I would use it.
Now I do not know what I would do without it.

Great line, Ned!  It is an extremely versatile tool.

Obviously there's been a lot of discussion recently about the MFT.  I think it would be very interesting to see photos or hear about ways (aside from the obvious applications) that the MFT is being used by everyone.  Also, examples of jigs and other mods would be great.

Hey Shane, Mr. Sticker Man, interested in making up some stickers that would fit neatly on the MFT?
Or tell your old buddies at McFeely's where you put the sticker stock.

Even if I did work it out for the MFT, I don't know how to size it for the MFT3.  You, on the other hand...

But seriously, anyone, including Festool themselves, is welcome to use the slogan.  I think it's good and I'd like to see it spread around.

Funny.  Guess I've been "labeled" here on the FOG (pun intended).  Definitely appreciate the offer for using of the slogan.  Let me see what I can do about some stickers.  Where would you suggest putting the sticker?  I don't think it stick to the MDF top.  So, the side rail, guide rail or fence maybe.

I'd size it to fit on the frame extrusions.  It could be quite long and not interfere with anything.

I imagine the stickers on display models at dealers and also for those who want to do a bit of bragging in the shop or at the site.

If it's gonna stick on the extrusions, I think Festool green, Festool typeface, on clear substrate, would look great.  And I'd change it from

It's not a "table" it's a POWER TOOL

to

It's not a table it's a POWER TOOL

Tips gratefully accepted.  A set of 4 stickers would be nice, but if you want to set a precedent of sending me the tool I'm helping to sell, I'll be really grateful.  And I'll get right to work on some catchy Domino copy.  :D

If we are going to consider the MFT a power tool, you should make up 120V and 240V versions of the stickers.

Be careful guys. As you mention voltage diffeences, it suggests to me that the MFT3 will be slowed down by need for UL approval.

Hmmm, my question is, "Will the new MFT3 come equipped with a plug-it cord, or not?"    :P

The MFT1080 has a sticker on the top side. You could size the slicker (slogan-sticker) to cover that.
