MFT Extensions

Finally got to use the clamping extensions for a cabinet project, they worked out pretty well.

I really struggled with the Domino however, I initially tried to make the mortise spacing perfect using the smallest width with the 5mm dominos, and relying on the ins to align them. Big mistake. I ended up having to go back over most of them and widen the mortise to give the dominos a little room to move side-to-side.

In the end I decided that using RonWen's domi-plate was the best route, I just marked both pieces at the same time and then cut the mortises by aligning the Domino visually.

I'm with you, not a big fan of the pins.  Especially if you are trying to set a pin in the previous mortise to align the next one - any error is cumulative.

And I never use the wide mortise setting.
