MFT fence enhancement - Incra Incremental Track

Thanks for the info.  That was a very smart way to calibrate the scale.

You mentioned that you didn't use any tool to align the Incra track to the MFT fence.  I assume the alignment must be very trickly to get it correct. right?

Thanks for the alternate way to mount the Incra track on the MFT.  I need some clarification.  How do you clamp it down?  Do you suggest to use the Festool clamps to clamp it down for temporary use?  If this being the case, then, the Incra track will have a hard time to stay square to the guide rail.

I can't wait to see your new invention.  Please take more pictures.  I think I'll wait to see your new jig first before I start on this project.

You didn't steer me wrong, I'm happy with the Incra track.  I have two Incra fences, on on my TS and one on my router table so I'm definitely an Incra fan.  I also have a set of their precision squares which I think are great.  As to the squarness, in my case it was definitely the MFT fence that was not square as the angle assembly was flat on the table.  Thinking about this I may make an adapter plate and not use the MFT fence at all and bolt the Incra right to the angle unit.

Granville, nothing special aligning the incra track.  On you have the holes drilled snug the Incra fence down a little with your screws and use a precision square to square up the face of the Incra track with the MFT fence and table top.

  Thank you so much for posting the photo of the Flip Stop and Fence -- and it answers my questions.  Looks like this will work for one thing I have in mind.  I've been meaning to order a pair, but just haven't gotten around to that yet.

  I reconfigure my MFTs for the current need, so yes, I do mount the track and MDF base with clamps much of the time.  This has worked okay, but I will be changing things so I no longer have to tear down and set up so much.
