I've finally got my mobile workbench designed and completed.  Built using a medium strength 40mm extrusion from The Aluminium Extrusion Co here in NZ.

The 20mm holes on the 96mm grid were laid out and drilled using the UJK jig from Axminister tools in the UK.

It's nice to have a mobile workbench that combines tool storage, chopsaw, and clamping.

Thanks guys. I got the inspiration from Manor Wood on youtube.  That channel causes serious workshop envy  [eek]

What did you use for the Side and interior panels and how did you fix them out of interest?

Thanks, Mark

The panels are 9mm mdf. I cut them slightly oversize, primed and  painted them, then cut to final size when dry. As the slot is only 8mm width I used my shaper to cut a 1mm deep x 11.5mm wide rebate, a router would also work.
They are fitted into the recess as the build progressed.

The extrusions are held together with M8x30mm button head socket screws. I tapped the internal channel of the extrusions  with an M8 tap in  a hand held drill. An 8.5mm hole drilled through from the outside provides access for the hex key to tighten the screws.
