MFT Table Edges

Hello,
I am new to FOG & have done a search, with no answer!

Is it possible to purchase the track profile edging used on the MFT table? I would like to build custom designed shop table.

Welcome to the FOG!

The profiles are available as spare/replacement parts.  You will need to call Festool Canada to order them.  I do not know if the price applies to Canada or just the US.

Long Profile (front or back)  472863 - $73.37

Shane: on a related note, I sent a question to festool usa via the web form and have to date not received a reply.

My question was about this longer length mft3 part

    MFT/3-TP 2000 LA with #496824

Do you have plans to bring these to the usa in the future? There have been several discussions about the longer rails and I am sure that these would sell in small quantities. It would seem unlikely that there would be any complexities (e.g. UL) for these?

I know I can get them all over the place in the EU but shipping is tricky.

I have asked about getting these several times. There are several issues, which I'm not going to post publicly about. The short answer is that, at least for now, we will not be adding these to our offerings in the US/Canada. Sorry.
