Midi Dust Extractor motor question

Hi, I was wondering how can I tell if my ct midi has the newer more powerful motor.  In the 2012 catalog the midi and mini have less cfm compared to the ct 26-48.  In the new 2013 catalog all the dust collectors have the same cfm.  When was the new motor introduced and is there any way I can tell which one is in my model?

Hey, Jim. The transition took place in summer 2011. So, it's highly unlikely that you'd find a dealer with inventory that old. If the MINI/MIDI has a HEPA sticker on it or a filter installed that has the word HEPA imprinted on it, then it's the updated model. Otherwise, there's not a way to tell from the outside. Well, I guess the manufacture date which is on the same label as the serial number would be another way.

Thanks Shane.  I do have the one with the HEPA decal on it.  Just was wondering out of curiosity more than anything.  Thanks again!
