HI all

My Midi vac is great around the shop for odd tasks.  I see there is a sponge filter available for wet use, can this be used for carpet cleaning at all?  I'm confused as to what it is meant for?

I mean i'd clean the carpet by hand and brush but use the wet vac for sucking up the water/foam, has anyone tried this or is it not what it is designed for?

Cheers

  Russ,

The Wet filter elements for the MINI/MIDI - 456-805 are designed to replace the standard filters when picking up any type of liquid, so the answer for your use is yes, use them for your carpet.

cool

I may well try that thank you ;D

I'll have a look at the various vacuum attachments and give it a go.

HAs anyone tried using a festool for diy carpet cleaning?

We vacuum our entire house with a CT 22, a Universal Cleaning Kit, and a Turbo Suction Brush.

The Turbo Suction Brush works great with a 36mm hose, less so with a 27mm hose.
