Might need another sander

Okay guys. I'm think I might need another sander to justify me buying a CT Mini.
I do flooring, staircases and cabinetry. I have the RO90, RO150, DTS 400 and LS 130. Was thinking of purchasing the ETS 150 but do I get the 3 or 5 or should I get the RTS 400.

Get the ETS 150/3. It's an awesome sander. I have the RTS400 too, and haven't used it since I got the ETS. I also have the Rotex 150 for initial sanding, then use the ETS. The RTS will get into corners though...

Once you get the the ETS line of finish sanders you are beginning to split hairs between models IMHO.  I personally didn't want to have a ton of sanders so I went with the /03.  If I want to sand coarser there is paper to handle that and in those instances I can sacrifice the "time" difference vs the /05.

I use an ets125, 150/3 and ro90 combo for the type of work you are talking about. The angle head on the 90 usually replaces my rts400. However, when doing a lot of surface area I'm glad I have the rts400.
The rts400 is cheap enough to just go ahead and buy one. You could also just wait until you find a deal on a used rts400 since it may not get that much use. Overall go for the /3

Yeah pretty much. I'm buying a CT Mini and would love to compliment it with another sander to get a package. So I can say "but it was on sale". 
I think the ETS 150 /3 would be best since I'm thinking that the RO150 will take the place of the ETS 150/5. I could be wrong.

Same way of thinking. I think at  $250  the RTS is a no brainer in the future. And it uses the paper from the LS 130.

Yes, the ETS150/3 is the compliment to what you have. Get it. Wait until you see / feel how smooth it runs!

I only have 3 fessy sanders. Well I actually have more with my hand sander kits.

I have a RO 90, ets 150/3 and now a LS 130. Between these 3, I can do anything. Like I said, I also have the hand sanding blocks connected to my CT and they are great as well.

I know you have received many responses, but Ditto on the 150/3. I LOVE mine. I have many sanders and use that one most often. the DTS400 would also be nice to get into corners. I also use this very often.

I have a Festool DX93.
And then a Mafell UVA 115 (in 220v).
I cannot envision needing another, unless it was some linear sander or for stiles.

You may want to consider that UVA 115 for your square sander.

Considering what you already have, I'd concur the ETS 150/3 is a good choice for a new one. For cabinets, the ETS 125 would also do wonders, it's a great little sander to get the nicest finish out of smaller surfaces.

Last flooring guy I met and had a chat with talked me into getting a RO 150 FEQ. He told me in was awesome.

Just bought the ets ec 150/3 for finishing up birchply before clear lacquering and in between coat. Only used it for one day, but it's one of those tools where you catch yourself smiling while you're using it lol! ro90 and ets 125 already in my arsenal, feel pretty well covered now. 150/3 came with strong recommendation from fog just bought the hard (blue) pad for it too.
