Hi all! Long time reader, first time post!

I'm just a hobbyist, but I am working on my fine furniture skills. This is my first paying job!

Solid cherry! I just got into the festool addiction, so this is also my first project using all my new tools.

Really cool and nice craftsmanship! Only thing I might've done differently is ease the joints all the way around the outside with the sander to made it look circular rather than angular. That's one of those hindsight deals though, I always look back at a project and could tweak it but only after its completed. Where were those insights when I was doing it?

Very nicely done!  That's a challenging project and you did a great job.

Nice job...looks good, it gives me some inspiration for my father's and his father's medals. Thanks for posting...

Very ambitious construction!
I've never tried something like that.
I would have made the cabinet with wiggle board and added a circular face frame.

Congrats on pulling it off!

Nice work!  That is one style of shadowbox that I haven't tried to make yet.
