Milwaukee meets festool drills?

Anyone seen or tried this out?

I wonder if it would work with the US chargers?  I love my festool drill/kit but I also have quite the M12 collection.

I first became aware of this last fall when it was supposed to be released across the pond.

At the time I contacted Milwaukee about when and if it would be released in the U.S. and they were of no help, simply stating that if it gets released, the announcement would be made first on the USA website.

If you managed to get hold of one, I guess the key is to find out if the UK model accepts the same battery as US tools.

I have some m12 tools I bought when I lived in England, the batteries I bought here worked fine. The impact and drill were made in Germany actually.

I am going to try and get one of these, a bare tool kit would be ideal as the charger wouldnt work over here.

I want to buy a router and a jigsaw before summer since I dont own either right now so this may have to wait unless the ol' reward card is bigger than expected.

It's weird, but that doesn't appear to be a Fuel version? I wonder why....

These are readily available here in Sweden. I fondled one at my local pushers nest.
EDIT: it seems to be a FUEL machine, it has the gauge on the side of the machine but there is no "FUEL" marking on it.
It is fully compatible with all M12 batteries.

It is well built and quite heavy. Perhaps a little too heavy for the size of it but machine and chucks feel solid. According to the sales rep they sell a lot of these to plumbers electricians and carpenters. The stack was nearly gone the second time I was there.

Anyone needs to know anything about these I can check things on Monday as I will be in the store.

ADDIT:
It is nice to be able to keep the bit in the bit holder and fit the drill chuck on top without removing the bit. It is a pity it doesn't feature a locking bit holder. The case is HUGE - I would give it away. All those system components would fit much better rearranged in a SYS. The charger seems quite large.

I think the Milwaukee will prove to be a very good machine. To me it is a little to big for being a small drill and it would not replace any of my larger drills so I am not interested in it - but I applaud the effort.
