Hello guys!

I'd like to share my homemade single Doweller. It is smaller and I think more flexible compare to duo model. It is not ready jig - just concept. Heart of this jig is universal block with drill guide which can be used for many different ways. I hope I will be able to continue develope it and improve.

I like bearings idea. This is what UJK Parf Guide needs to avoid binding problems.

That's really impressive. I use dowels for quite a lot of smaller jobs - not having a Domino.
Like Edward, I think the Domino-esque registration pins are clever.

Also, I'd begun to think I was the only person with a DR18/4, so infrequently (i.e. never) does it get mentioned!

They are universal purposed holes. For example for vacuum cleaner socket from bottom side or something else. It is modular tool. This way I foreseen  place for next improvements.

It is not new idea (mafell dd40) just made from common hardware.

There is big difference in work when you feel softness of such rotation except steel to steel scratching. It is not first my jig with bearings. They always worked excellent

Very fun to watch you work, make my head spin speeded up like this but I get a feel for this kind practical invention in motion. Very good. When can I buy the jig. I'd expect it to be expensive though hand made with so many fine details..

Mirock, you should sell these. Perhaps team up with some manufacturing facility.
Woodpeckers.com sells dowel jigs for hundreds of $$. Yours is way better.

Firstly I cut place and put it there, after making first side I flip it and put it on the same place and repeat processing
