miter saw choices

Yeah I am too.

That angle readout will be nice for me as my table saw really has no way for a me to read the bevel angle accurately.

I have that digital readout on my fence...I payed 149.00 and its worth every penney.  Best thig since sliced bread.... Fast and accurate and easy to rezero!

Yes, I have. After taking back two kapex, and the third having the grinding bevel issue, I am thinking about the robust nature of the four Dewalt miter saws my buddies are using commercially. None of them have the slider, so I am still looking for a sincere review of its pros and cons. Currently I am using a ten inch Makita slider (which only has one rail) I bought in 1989. Only changed the brushes once and its been in four shops over the past 20 years. Great saw, super small footprint, I would like to semi retire it to field work due to its portability and age.
