I've got a Bosch MS.  I'm happy with its performance, except for the laser guide.  It's simply not bright enough.  It used to be brighter, then original batteries died, and the replacements (several) just don't drive adequate light out of the unit.  Amazon (and other) retailers sell replacement units, has anyone had experience with these ?

Thanks,
Tom

This sounds a bit odd... if the lasers used to be brighter, then new batteries should restore the brightness.

Check the battery contacts are not oxidised (I had this on an old laser level many years ago, it would make the beam go dim); also check the laser is not covered in dust or grease.

Im in the school of 'turn the laser off'.

blade tips and my 'V' mark to set up my cut..the lasers bug the hell out of me..guess I'm old.

Wish I could help solve your problem..sorry.

Not sure if this is the issue, but sometimes there will be different voltage ratings on the same size of those small batteries.  Are you sure your replacement battery has the exact same specs as the original?
