Mitre slot positioning advice needed

I'm making a custom combined saw and router table top. (Saw at one end, router the other, sharing a decent sized table)

So my question is - is there a 'standard' distance from the mitre slot to the saw blade/router cutter axis?

The original saw table has its slot at 160mm (6.5") from the blade.

No standard of that sort exists, it's all user-driven.

You do have to decide whether you want to use the same saw fence as the fence for the router, and whether you want to use the router fence on the right side or left side of your router bit to determine where you cut the router slot.

Thanks Chuck, I suspected there was no standard. I have a UJK sled arriving tomorrow and that may influence my decision.
I'm not sharing fences between saw and router, although they could use each others if the work needed it.
