I have received several PMs asking about the modified LR 32 guide rail stops recently listed in the Classified section so instead of responding individually I am starting this thread.  I started using the KISS 32 mm system since it utilizes "un-handed" doors (meaning the hinge boring is the same for both LH and RH doors) and any spreaders are located on the system hole position.  If you use this system, the starting position for the system holes is something different than the 16mm or 32mm positions the LR 32 guide rail stops allow.  When I first started experimenting with this, I utilized a 13mm thick spacer between the guide stop and the workpiece  to achieve the desired starting position.  The thread below describes this system and provides a link for those interested in the KISS 32 system.

KISS 32 and the Domino

Since I don't have 3 hands, the use of the 13mm spacer was too cumbersome so I decided to modify the guide rail stops.  Page 5 of the KISS 32 document link included in the thread above refers to the "Constant" and that becomes the basis for the modified stops.  The constant is 6mm and half of that is 3mm.  The modification consists of milling 3mm off the end of the guide stop stamped 16.  Once I did this, the use of the spacer ceased and the desired starting point for the system holes was built into the guide rail stops.  This modification may or may not be useful depending on what the "standard" countertop height is in your area of the world - YMMV.

Steve, you might want to look at the newer LR 32 Guide Rail Index (496938).  No need to file/grind down anything.  If you generally go with a 3mm reveal, however, you might want to make some 1.5mm shims from UHMW plastic to use with these indexes.
