Sorry to hear about your bad experiences with Imperial. I've never had any issues with the Imperial blades I have used. I mainly buy the wide fine toothed blades and they are sooo much cheaper then the fein blades. I don't expect a lot from my mutlitool blades, just cut the wood decently and last a while. I prefer the Imperial for the price and If I hit a trim nail or something the teeth just don't disappear.
