Multi-jetstream pads for ETS-150 and hard pad for ETS-125???

Just wondering, the ETS-150 has the new multi-jetstream with additional holes but the accessory pads I see on the website (Hard Pad, Polishing pad, etc...) only have the standard 9 hole setup. Are the pics on the website wrong or do you lose the advantage of the multi-jetstream if you change to a different pad?

Also, is there a hard pad for the ETS-125? I am concerned about rolling over the edges on narrow stock with the soft pad on the ETS-125. Has anyone using the 125 found this to be an issue?

I am going to the Woodworking Show in Fredericksburg, VA next weekend so I will be trying out whatever I can there and probably picking up either the ETS-150/3 or ETS-125 (and maybe some other things :) ).

I have it narrowed down to one of these two but I want to make sure I have all the info to make the right choice.

Thanks

Pictures on site are outdated, so check by part number.
As I know Festool currently doesn't offer hard pad for ETS-125. There are only two flavors available: meduim-soft and soft-soft pads, plus interface pad for super soft sanding. I really need hard pad for ETS-125 too

Don't forget that the prices go up at the end of this month, so you might want to purchase the stuff before the show.  I'm going back and forth on the Kapex and I'm heading this afternoon to my local Woodcraft to see if I want to bite the bullet.

Yeah, unfortunately I get paid on the 29th and no way to get it before then so I'll end up paying $5 - $15 more for whatever I end up getting :(

Jim,

I just went through this selection process of ETS 125 vs ETS 150/3 and my initial purchase was the ETS 125.  I very quickly realized that the 125 didn't offer a hard pad as an option but, the weight and feel of this sander is excellent.

However, after two weeks I returned the 125 and bought the ETS 150/3 since I do a lot of furniture with solid wood sides and tops that need to be sanded after glue up and the 150 was just much more efficient and since I bought the RO 90 for doing narrow rails and stiles, the 150 seemed to be much more efficient for my work.

You won't be disappointed with either but consider what you want to do with either of the excellent tools.
