No I didn't Michael. I haven't really felt the need....until possibly now. [smile] [sad]
I may have to because 2 days ago while routing aluminum with the 1010, I had 3 instances where the vibration level generated by the milling, loosened the collet nut and ALMOST caused an oops. Last summer I also had several instances of the collet loosening when working with 80/20.
You never want to really wrench down on the collet but for aluminum routing there needs to be considerable force applied to it to prevent it from loosening.
The Musclechuck is supposed to provide twice the slip resistance to a router bit compared to a conventional tightened collet.
