Without the shape, it would have been a different pain.

That's well before they are able to sit up, much less stand and poke thier fingers in things- which the baby would have to do to get to those swinging arms.

I doubt you use a pallet jack in the house but those stretchers would make for easy access and moving.

- While I generally agree with your statement, that crib will be very handy as a play pan later on. Just add a locking pin on the outside to prevent swinging motion when unattended.

Now THAT would be a picture to post on the FOG, with goggles on the little guy of course as he rides inside the cradle on the road to protect his delicate eyes from bugs. Safety first... Now that's an idea. pallet jack to the outside, forks on the 855 to transport it the 5 miles to their house. Thanks.
..................but not the reason for the shape.

LOL, sorry but you've got me stumped, I feel like the dudes on TOH passing around a weird contraption and making up silly ideas for its use.

Have you ever noticed how strong an infant's grip is? If they're healthy, they can hang from just their grip.

These look fantastic!
I know it's a small part of this (large) project, but I really like the shape, color and choice of wood for these links.
