Here goes my first FOG post. I recently completed a cedar deck that replaced an old worn out treated one. I am new to the Festool "family" but I did use a couple green tools on this project. All the post tops and handrails were sanded with an RO125/CT Midi and the board ends were trimmed and notched cut outs made with a TS55REQ. I installed the deck boards using the Camo system ,which worked well for the money. I think next on my wish list might be a C15 or T15 drill as it seemed I was always running back and forth between the deck and the battery charger for my current drills. Anyway, hope you enjoy. Thanks.

VERY NICE!

I really like the benches and the column/planters. The whole thing looks beefy and strong. Thanks for posting and  [welcome]

Love cedar decks! Looks good!

One side note, be careful with the kids and the benches with "short" backs. Would be very easy for someone to tip over backwards if standing on the bench. Current codes around here make the seat back high to prevent that.

We are "training" the kids around the benches right now. My son seems more interested in sitting on them and lining up the hundreds of toy cars he owns on the handrail. Thanks for the compliments.

Really nice and crisp llines. It's funny because your everyday joe doesn't look at quality of cuts/level/ symmetry but to those of us that make things it's the first thing our eyeicks up.

From the ground the proportion of the planters isn't very appealing to me but in the picture up on the deck they are a great size. Very impressive!

Thanks for the compliments.

Not sure what kind of car that is next door. He actually has a few over there.

I'm just outside of Topeka. Not quite country livin' but it's nice and quiet.
