You wouldn't think Festool would have much to do with a project like this, not so. I actually use my sanders in a few different ways to sand the spirals and to do the sanding when roughing it out. I also used my Kapex to chop up the Bubinga in the beginning. This vessel stands 16.5" tall & is 5" in diameter. Please enjoy my friends.

Holy Cow Bill!  Besides that amazing image - glad to see you alive and visiting us again. Always loved seeing your work.  Is this entered into a competition somewhere?  It should be!

Thanks, yes it was. I won 1st place. (1k in Baileigh tools)  [big grin]  I have a wine cellar, a couple humidors & some boxes I need to catch up on with you guys. My wood working has become more of a business than a hobby. It's been sucking up all my time lately. Not to get off on a tangent but I won a contest here several years ago too, I won an ETS 150. That sander still gets abused almost daily and still feels like new. I have several Festool sanders but the ETS150 is my go to. If anyone here is wondering if they should spend the money, stop wondering & go get your sander and don't look back. LOL

Again I have to say thank you all. Hopefully I can make more time to be around more. I guess the rule of small business applies here "Never too busy, just under staffed"  [scared] I'm building an entertainment center in a motor home this week, I'll post pics when it's done.

I can't use the expletives here I want to use as adjectives to express what I think of your project without it being deleted Bill.

So..........it is stunning, just stunning.

I saw the Baileigh boxand it's amazing, but that 5,000 count humidor made from waterfall babinga, Spanish cedar and gabon ebony is just plain brilliant!
Congratulations on winning the prize, great work.
