Just thought I'd share a picture of my new PS400. Bought a domino at Christmas and since then have upgraded my vac to a CT22 and now my jigsaw. Next on the list is TS55, Rotex and a router. Everything about the Festool range appeals to my work ethic.

Very impressed with this, the light strobe is very cool and of course the dust extraction is excellent.

Likewise my new vac is good, but the supplied D27 hose is probably a bit small for use with my router, it doesn't seem to be catching all the waste. Should probably get one of those workshop cleaning sets with the 36mm hose :)

I want, I want, I want.  But I live in the USA so I wait, I wait and I wait. [crying]

hi chems , the d27 should be ok with most routers i use my midi with my 1010 and my big 626 dewalt

I had a slightly bigger hose on my old vac, and I think the extraction was better. I was using a 35mm router bit today for cutting some euro hinge cups and the dust extraction was bad. Should have been good considering the cut was blind not exposed side.

yeah i read on here that dust extraction doesnt work well with those big 35mm cutters. I want to get one saw them in Wealdons catalogue about 25 quid, what one are you using Chems ?

It's not fair he gets one and I can't have one (stomping feet)

Can always send you over a 110v version, and it registered fine for its 2+1 warranty.

I bought my domino in the states, 110v and just needed to amend the plug. Having said that I have the American 110v plug here. If anyone wants one sent over badly let me know!

Its interesting to see the role reversals, normally everything comes out in the US first.
