I'm definitely enjoying all the comments - keep 'em coming. They make up for all the hours and pressure of getting this done.
[member=2128]downtheroad[/member] - Yes, that was my voice. No, it wasn't me on the guitar. I wish...
[member=17954]Charlie Mac[/member] - Thanks for the kind comments. In my misspent youth I was a radio announcer at a local station.
I played briefly with Premiere years ago when it was THE editing program for the Mac, but never went beyond 'playing' with it.
[member=27126]ChrisK1970[/member] - You've got one of my First Aid Systainers, so you shouldn't be THAT surprised, right? Like I've posted before, I seem to have a thing for systainers! [big grin]
[member=18116]Clweed[/member] - I wonder why they call them MANicure's when mostly WOMEN get them? While I was editing I noticed that my fingers were kinda rough, but it was too late then. Anyway it proves I don't spend all of my time with my hands on a keyboard.
[member=6108]Sean Ackerman[/member] - I've done some Voice-Over work in the past, but the field is loaded with guys who sound just like me.
I did a few 'practice reads' to see how it sounded and to play with the phrasing and stuff. After I was finished tweaking the script, I recorded the narration in one continuous take on the first try.
[member=27901]Billedis[/member] - I sorted through HOURS of music to find something that was soothing, but also wouldn't put you to sleep. I realized that this could easily end up sounding like a 'Sham-WOW!' commercial, which I desperately wanted to avoid. Thanks for letting me know that I succeeded.
Again, thank YOU for all the great comments! I'll be spending today recuperating...and reading your comments over and over.
