Never thought it would happen. Today my Sysrock passed away  :'(  It hs been fine since i bought when it first came out.  Today i had it on, running off an 18v battery. Walked away from my bench to fit a piece of soffit.  Came back and realised i couldn't hear the radio. Picked it up thinking someone had turned down/ off. But the volume said it was set to number 4.  Screen was working fine, can change stations etc.
So brought it home with me, tried it with the PSU, Aux and bluetooth. Screen still working, but no sound.  :(

So guess i will find out how good Festool uk service is now.

I don't have a Sysrock but if I did and mine exhibited the same symptoms that yours did I would try a fully charged battery before sending it in.  Electronics and possibly lower voltages can do some silly things.

Maybe it doesn't like your choice in music!  I just messing with you, if my shop radio didn't work I would be upset.  I don't know if it's possible to get inside where the speakers are, but maybe there is a loose wire.

I did try another battery when i got home and also the mains power adapter. It was still the same, screen working ok along with all the buttons. Just no sound at all, i even turned it up to the max and put it next to my ear and heard nothing. Not even any hissing.

It might have a small one to remember settings of radio stations etc, but nothing to power the sysrock itself.

I wouldn't want to get inside it myself, it is only about 6 or 7 months old i think.  So Festool can sort it out :)
