I am posting today with a new product announcement.  www.qwasproducts.com makes great bench dogs for the MFT tables.  I've made a lot of drawers and cases over the years and kept thinking about alignment when I was using the Domino Joiner.  I contacted Steve Adams of Qwasproducts and he made me a pair of dogs that instead of being less than 19mm for 3/4" material they are just below the 38mm of two layers of 3/4" material. This greatly speed up alignment for drawers etc when you are using the edge for the Domino Joiner. they are call A-Dogs for Alignment dogs.  Go to the website and see the way they are used and you'll be able to see how they can greatly increase speed, accuracy and ease.

The first images with the Black dogs, show how they are too short for aligning an edge.
The picture with the Trim Gauge shows the option of using the gauge along with the A-Dogs for quick accurate set up. With this technique you would slide the rail of the drawer up against the A-Dogs, then slide the Stile of the drawer up against the trim gauge clamp with Festool quick table clamps.  This eliminates the need for drawing a line (shown in one of the pics), then aligning against the line etc.

I like that, but...
Could Steve make this product in such a way that two smaller pieces could be threaded together? For example, two 15 mm sections. I envision the base portion being similar to the original, only with female threads to receive another 15 mm tall extension piece with male threads that could be threaded on top. Let me know if this makes any sense...
