NEW... Boom Arm Buggy

Damn, that is fancy.

I take it you are a bit anal retentive as well? [big grin]

Looks great, sometimes I get jealous of you guys that get to keep all your tools in one place.

I have stacks of systainers all over the county.

I don't have any new projects coming up, so I really dragged this out in order to give me something to do.... I kept coming up with new ideas along the way.

I am just overwhelmed by all the nice things being said about my project.... thank you all so much.... you all have really made my day week.

Jim

I loving your buggy until I saw the upside down casing on the bottom.  To a trim carpenter that is offensive. [eek] No, I'm pulling your leg, nice job. [thumbs up]

hi jim. nice job.

how do you find the 90 degree bend where the hose meets the vac?

have you had any blockage issues using this 90 degree bend?

No blockage issues whatsoever Justin..... I don't notice any difference with dust extraction as compared to a straight link-up with the vac.

Very innovative and well executed.  I've been trying to come with something innovative to hold my systainers and use it as a table.  You just raised the bar on that project.  Thanks

Nice cart!  A few questions;

  • What 90 fitting did you use at the vac?  Is it anti-static too?
  • Why not turn vac around to have controls up front?
  • Why separate tubes for hose and cord?

I think you should call these the F ducts [big grin]

When you start planning the MK3 version size the draws to accept systainer inserts

I thought the same thing when I saw it.

Still Nice job

WOW Jim, you really owe it to all of us to post some photos of your other works. This is way too cool. You've made a lot of people happy here.

P/S how much do you charge to come and clean up shops, I will sign a 3 year contract with option to renew... :)
