Anyone have any idea as to why a 240 volt GB vacuum has a rating for the power outlet of 1600watts when the European version has a rating of 2000 watts?
I assume it’s OK to use with the Kapex, but not something like the 2200 router.
Also does anyone know if it comes with the remote switch for the hose - it’s not clear from the info on Festool's website.
Thanks in advance

Cant answer why its down from 1800W on the old MIDI, but we also noticed the 110V is now rated at 990W with max 770W takeoff.

The MIDI does NOT come with the Bluetooth Remote kit. Part number for the remote is 202098

I agree the wording on the UK website isn't the best. maybe [member=41214]Phil Beckley[/member]  can arrange to sort?

Hi
Not sure why the chance on the PTO but I have had no issue with the 2200 and the extractor - I will ask the question and get back.
The remote control is a accessory so is not supplied with the extractor

Aren't UK plugs  13A and German plugs 16A,  thus  13/16=81%  2000*.81 = 1620,  thus the  2000/1600 split.    2000/230V = 8.7A  ,  16gauge wire in the US anyways is generally rated around 10A (lots of variables to this),  so all around these ratings would seam to check out. A 2200W router would be just under 10A.
