New CXS battery

I have the original CXS drill with 1.2 Ah batteries, I want to upgrade with the 2.6Ah batteries, is the original charger compatible with these new batteries?

Yep! You will love the 2ah batteries. I can now set the CXS down without fear of it tipping over! Didn't really need the extra run time but really like the wider base.
