Was at a local store today and they have a ton of DeWalt stuff [eek] waaayyyy more than any "rep" store or box store.
Anyway, it's a 14oz and "swings" like a  24oz I think it said, and they have a 15 oz hammer that swings like a 28oz.
The 14oz had a shorter handle by 2" or so, and I liked it better. Although the grip could be more aggressive, that so far would be my only con.
It has the magnet on the top, nice balance too. We have been doing new construction framing since April and the 16 oz Estwing was starting to hurt my elbow so
I though I would give it a try. They also sell Stilletto's but I am far to Dutch to drop $200+ on a hammer, lol
This one cost $52 + tax so $57 otd.
I will update once I get some real work swings in. [big grin]

Tom,

Great find.  Just wanted to let you know that all Stilettos don't cost $200.  Just as an example:  Stilleto hammers

I have the 14 oz framing and love it.  Much easier on my elbow.

I don't do wood handled hammers, they might last me a week [embarassed] so for a steel/titanium shaft that I would want it would be close to that much $$
And I don't like long handles either, you I rarely grip them that low so I don't see the point for the long handle. The hatchet handled one would be better.
