New Dust Extractors, When Available in the US??

I would like to buy a Festool dust extractor, but am holding out for one of the new models?  Can you tell me when they will be available for purchase in the Land of the Free (and the Home of the new Festool tools deprived)?

Larry, no official word as of yet. I would expect spring, that's when most new tools are released here. That is just a guess, maybe someone from Festool can give you a better idea.

We don't have an ETA yet, since it depends on UL. My personal opinion based on the UL approval process in the past: We won't
see the Cleantex vacuums in the US in the next 12 months.

Thanks for taking the time to reply Christian. This might be disappointing news for some. The possible upshot in the delay is that maybe the new vacs can be made to meet the upcoming EPA lead requirements.
