Just got my ETS125 today. Frankly, just got tired of waiting for one to come available in almost new condition that I could get somebody to ship to me. Not sure there is much reason to buy some of this stuff at ebay. Seems like if there is one way to make sure you are going to lose out financially it is buying Festool on ebay.

I can see why people like the suite of Festool finish sanders. I will be using this with my RO90. RO90 first followed by the 125. Fits the hand nicely. Nice size for the pad...not too big. Not too small.

I just wish either Festool went back to providing some sample packs of sandpaper or just did not put anything in there. There was one sheet of sandpaper with mine. I am guessing that was a gift from my dealer as opposed to something from Festool. Nice gesture by the dealer if that is the source. Sort of the wrong idea I think if from Festool directly. Either give me enough to actually do something or don't give me any.

Tom Bellemare of ToolHome (Here on FOG regularly) makes mixed grit paper sets for all the sanders.

If you want to have a full mixed load of usable abrasives without having to buy 100 sheet boxes, I'd take a look at his abrasive mix offerings.

He really does it well! I have purchased numerous sets for different sanders from him, he gets them out in shipping very fast! [big grin]

Festool USED to put in a selection of sandpapers for their sanders...but no longer.

Cheers,
Frank

Thanks Frank,

I have a decent selection for the RO90 but in small (10 units each) quantities. I would like more of some of the grits without having to get 100 of any of them.

Got a few for the 125 as well but need more of those also. I sort of went for the finer grits for the 125 but I do need to get a few coarse grits for that sander.
