I have been using an iPhone app to convert my inches to mm and vise versa. What i didn't like about it is you had to constantly scroll through the different measurement systems and enter your measurement. Then scroll through to reverse the measurements and re-enter the number.

Now with a simple app, Inches to MM Conversion (blue version) by Meta Technologies GmbH (free app) you get all the info you need with each entry. Type in 12 it will tell you inches to mm and mm to inches.

They have a purple version which has MM on top instead of inches, but both apps give you both measurements.

Not sure if this is available on Android, but a nice easy to use app.

There are adverts at the bottom of this app.

If you have the BuildCalc app swipe the yard/feet/inch keys and they change to meters, centimeters, millimeters, just a tip for those who have the app.

Another great one is Convertbot. It does conversions for anything, including currency.

Great app!

Merry Christmas!

Thanks Brian, there are several apps that will convert just about everything. The problem I was having with those, was having to scroll through a bunch of stuff i don't need, when I just want quick down and dirty conversions of measurements. I was happy to find a stripped down, super easy, to the point app, to do just the the operations of mm to inches and vice versa. But if you are looking for an all around app, Convertbot is good!

You know what my quick and easy converter is?  I use Siri. "How many inches in 645 mm" shows up very quickly. If you have android, you can do the same with "OK Google".

I know a lot of people don't use Siri and alike but i find it to be one of the most useful parts of my phone OS.

Cheers. Bryan.
