Don't forget the new gas turbine routers ... I plan to fit two to a backpack harness.

No, No, No...

Festool have brought out a new sole plate for their latest saw, the TS55R. To order one you just ask for the TS55R Sole. If you ask Warren at Toolfest he will tell you exactly what you should do.

I still think that Festool need to develop a line for the Festool WAGs!

Peter

festool is also developing a new type of watch, a blue and green solar powered sun dial. It will come in a systainer and will have vaious accessories such as a alam to let you know when its miller time and or lunch

Why is it one gets the feeling you need to roll up your pant legs to "jump into" this thread?  [unsure]

Here is the picture that goes with my previous post - it is (or at least was) a shop on the King's Road in Chelsea.

Peter

I doubt whether the name came from his parents - the shop sells cowboy boots and the name may have some other meaning which I cannot put my finger on - something to do wth bottoms I think. yes, thats it, soles, they are the bottoms of shoes of course.

Peter

Wasn't the rumors all about those 220V fuel cell batteries for all Feltools to become cordless with 2.2kW power rating and a month worth of runtime between refueling? [wink]

The rumor is that Festool will introduce a radical new tool that will unify rough framing , trim work , and cabinetry under a single theory of work

What, they gonna make a hammer?

big question  is will it be cordless or mains powered with a ' plug it' cable or just basic man powered!

That sounds a lot like the Protools that will rebranded as Festool then.

I was just in Wendlingen. Germany and saw the new Domino 700 NES in production.
It will accommodate the Nespresso capsules and make a good coffee.

On a serious note, they just announced today improvements to the small planer that will have the EQ designation.

Cheers

That's old news now, I've already got the planer in question had it a few weeks now.

Thanks you for the quick update. Can you please tell me where you bought it. I have been looking all morning here in the US and was told it is not even available in Germany.

I got my ehl65 eq the day it arrived from Germany. I bought it from toolfest here in the UK

It's a great planer better than the old one, the handle is nicer better to grip and having the plug it is great. You can't lock the safety foot off anymore like you could on the old model. I was told this is because it no longer has a safety button on the trigger.

Luis, the EHL 65 EQ was only recently released in Germany. There are no immediate plans for its introduction in North America. You can however currently get the EHL 65 E, which is extremely similar.

Thanks Shane! Any news on the  arrival of the Carvex line? Joiner 1970 is a lucky chap by living in the UK.

Cheers
